Annual membership offers you:
- An opportunity to exhibit at the annual open Visual Arts Festival in Stratford upon Avon to promote your work locally
- Opportunities to contribute work to other exhibition venues and visual arts events in the area
- An individual page on the web-site; www.visual-arts-stratford.co.uk to promote your work (an additional fee will be charged)
- A regular newsletter by e-mail or post about local Visual Arts activities
- Opportunities to meet artists and people involved in the arts
- Invitations to all Visual Arts Forum Exhibitions
- Exhibition equipment available for hire
- Skill sharing sessions and lectures by local artists
- Invitations to the AGM and other Visual Arts Forum general meetings
The aims of Visual Arts Forum:
- To bring artists together to create regular, local, opportunities to exhibit a wide range of visual art and craft.
- To promote networking by offering opportunities for professional development and practice, sharing ideas, collaboration and communication between artists and the general public.
- To increase local audiences for the visual arts by developing awareness of the breadth and quality of visual arts and crafts in the area and appealing to the tastes of a wide audience.
- To offer opportunities for artists to work with members of the community in increasing understanding of the arts and sharing of skills by offering lectures, demonstrations and the delivery of workshops, alongside visual art exhibits.
- To increase local understanding of the benefits of arts in the community by creating opportunities for them to interact and get involved in the creative processes.
- To forge links with leisure & tourism, education and lifelong learning and arts venues and galleries in the area.
- To offer 'World Class Stratford', visitors the opportunity to view local art and craft.
- To encourage other local organisations and authorities to offer support and resources to the visual arts
- To provide a forum to promote local artists to a wider audience through the development of a web site
The Objectives of the Visual Arts Forum are:
- Provide a forum for young and emerging artists to exhibit
- To exhibit work developed through community art groups of all ages
- To establish a widely representative opportunity for all local artists to exhibit regularly
- To recognise the role of high quality craft work within the sphere of art
- To offer support for community charities
- To offer a programme of workshops, lectures and demonstrations for the general public
- Provide opportunities for artists to develop site specific work
- To include a small selection of visiting artist from outside the area to widen perspectives
- To develop an active web site

To apply for membership please download the following form. when completed post it to the address on the form with your cheque for the relevant amount.
