Dianne Greenway

My work is grounded in observation, investigating the natural world: the persistence and layering of fragments, memories and traces; erosion and alteration over time; the endurance and uncovering of structures. I use watercolour, charcoal, pastels and Indian ink, singly or in combination and reach for uneasy moments of awareness.

Since 1992	Freelance visual artist and garden designer; solo and group exhibitions; private commissions; teaching a private class of adult learners.
Previously	Lecturer in FE and HE for 30 years; drawing, painting and History of Art and Design; Stratford upon Avon, Coventry, Stoke on Trent, the Open University, etc
Currently working in private collections in England and France and on show throughout the year at The Terrace Arts Cafe, Seaton, Devon.
