Barbara Perkins
I am inspired by patterns in nature and the textural quality of the landscape. I love colour and enjoy experimenting with colour using various media and techniques. I rarely have an image in my mind when starting a painting and enjoy the journey from the beginning to the end of a piece of work. This journey may only take a few hours but often takes days or weeks to completion. A painting is only finished when I am happy with it and it expresses something of my response to life's journey.

Teaching Certificate followed by 13 years in primary education.
B.Phil.Ed. Degree and Diploma in Special Needs Education.
Art workshops in schools and with community groups.
Member of artists co-operative in Chipping Campden.
Exhibit regularly with local arts groups.
